Fundraiser to benefit local 13 year oldWHAT: Navajo Taco SALEWHEN: Saturday, November 21WHERE: American Legion WHEN: 8am to 4pm WHY: to raise funds for Julian Johnson who has been selected to serve as a delegate for Arizona through the People-to-People program. As an Arizona Delegate, Julian will travel to Europe in the summer of 2010 visiting the countries of England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. The People to People program was established by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956 and has been supported by all presidents since. The mission of the program is to promote world peace through increased understanding between the citizens of the world.
